COPD Initiative — Respiratory Health Association™ of Metropolitan Chicago

Welcome to the RHAMC’s Web site on COPD

This site provides useful information for anyone who would like to learn more about Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sometimes commonly referred to as Emphysema or Chronic bronchitis. Information on this site is geared towards those at risk for COPD, those living with COPD, their families, caregivers, and health care professionals who work with COPD patients. This site was created as part of our COPD Initiative, which is Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago’s comprehensive program to address COPD throughout the Greater Chicagoland.
